Words are the link between us. We read them, we write them, we think in them, we share them, we express ourselves with them, we listen to them, and we hope to understand and be understood through words.
I write a lot. I just don’t always write the things I want to. I spend a lot of time doing and writing things that are not necessarily fun or even meaningful. Making the time to write the thing I want to write is the hard part. There is so much to be done, it is difficult to rationalize making time to write something that may never be read and may not even be worthy of being read.
Lyrics, emails, novels, text messages, rants, school notes, love letters–they’re all words on a mission. Words are communication, therapy, daydreaming, connecting, marketing, making a living, doing business, forging friendships, strengthening relationships and more.
